XXXTentacion
1998-01-23 · Plantation, Florida, USA· birth time unknown
American rapper and singer who broke through with "Look at Me!" (2017) and the album ? (2018), fusing rap with rock and emo. He was shot and killed in June 2018 at the age of 20.
The Sun and Uranus sit together in Aquarius, and most of this chart's story is in that one conjunction. Start there. Aquarius is the sign that refuses to do a thing the way it has been done, and Uranus, its modern ruler, is disruption itself... the sudden break, the spike of static across a clean signal. Put them in the same place and you get an instinct for breaking form that has no off switch.
You can hear it in the music. "Look at Me!" pushes distortion past the point most rap will go, and the catalog that followed slid between genres without asking permission... rap, emo, acoustic, something close to metal, all on one record. That is the Aquarius Sun and Uranus read literally. The work would not stay in a lane because the chart was not built to keep it there.
The Moon in Sagittarius runs blunt and restless, allergic to being handled. A cluster in Capricorn puts Mercury, Venus, and Neptune in the heaviest, most structural sign, and the dark, depressive registers the songs kept returning to live right there.
The harder facts belong in the same plain light. There were pending charges of domestic violence at the time of his death, and he was shot and killed in Florida in June 2018, at twenty. Notice what the chart cannot do here. It describes a pattern of disruption and intensity and then simply stops... most charts get decades to work out their contradictions, and this one got twenty years. What it would have resolved into is not a question astrology can answer.
The originality was real, the volatility was real, and they came from the same placement. That is the whole shape, cut off early.
What the Chart Reveals
Interpretations drawn from XXXTentacion's natal placements.
☉ Sun in Aquarius
Aquarius is Fixed Air, and the Sun shines through difference ... identity runs on independence, ideas, and a private frequency the crowd does not quite share. Vitality comes from the bigger picture, the principle, the future it can already half see. The presence is original and engaged, friendly at a cool distance. The shadow is detachment ... a self that can observe its own life from a step back, so committed to the collective or the concept that the warm particular person underneath gets held at arm's length.
☽ Moon in Sagittarius
Sagittarius is Mutable Fire, and the Moon feels best with room ... emotional safety depends on freedom, space, and a horizon to aim at. The instinct is warm, buoyant, allergic to being fenced in. Comfort comes through movement, meaning, and the faith that things tend to work out. The shadow is the bolt toward the exit ... a heart that can mistake restlessness for happiness and leave the moment a feeling gets heavy, learning slowly that staying through the difficult patch is its own kind of freedom.
☿ Mercury in Capricorn
Capricorn is Cardinal Earth, and Mercury thinks in structures ... ideas are organized, strategic, and aimed at something that will actually stand. Speech is economical, serious, slow to waste a word. The mind plans in long arcs and rarely loses the thread. The shadow is the imagination kept on a short leash ... a thinking so practical it can dismiss the idea that has not proven itself yet, learning that not every useful thought arrives already wearing a suit.

Comfort comes through movement, meaning, and the faith that things tend to work out. The shadow is the bolt toward the exit ... a heart that can mistake restlessness for happiness and leave the moment a feeling gets heavy, learning slowly that staying through the difficult patch is its own kind of freedom.
Mercury in CapricornHouse 9 (est.)
Capricorn is Cardinal Earth, and Venus loves seriously ... attraction is slow to kindle and built to endure, drawn to substance, reliability, and a person who is genuinely going somewhere. Affection is understated, loyal, expressed through showing up rather than through flourish. The shadow is the heart kept too guarded ... a way of loving that can treat the bond like a contract and withhold warmth until trust is fully proven, and grows by letting tenderness show before all the evidence is in.
Mars in AquariusHouse 11 (est.)
Aquarius is Fixed Air, and Mars acts on principle ... drive is independent, contrarian, and powered by ideas, fighting for the cause and the future more than for itself. Desire is cool and a little detached. The fight is waged for the collective. The shadow is the rebellion that resists on reflex ... a force that can push against a thing simply because it is expected, and grows by choosing its battles for genuine conviction rather than for the pleasure of not conforming.
Jupiter in AquariusHouse 11 (est.)
Aquarius is Fixed Air, and Jupiter expands through the collective ... growth comes through ideals, community, and a vision aimed at the wider future. Faith rests in progress and the good of the many. Luck flows through networks and causes. The shadow is the abstraction that forgets the person ... a generosity toward humanity that can stay cool toward the individual in front of it, and grows by letting the grand vision reach the people actually nearby.
Saturn in AriesHouse 12 (est.)
Aries is Cardinal Fire, and Saturn sits in its fall here ... the planet of restraint lands in the sign of pure impulse, and assertion becomes something effortful, earned slowly rather than felt freely. Confidence does not come for free; it gets built over years. The instinct to act meets a constant inner brake. The shadow is the courage held back ... a force that can hesitate and second guess its own initiative, and grows by learning that the boldness it lacks at the start arrives through doing, not before it.
Uranus in AquariusHouse 10 (est.)
Uranus moves through Aquarius slowly, ruling its own ground ... the disruptive, collective impulse is fully itself, driving a generation toward technology, ideals, and reinvention of the social whole. The future arrives early here. The shadow is the cool that forgets the person ... a cohort so devoted to the system and the cause it can overlook the individual, finding its edge when the revolution stays human.
Neptune in CapricornHouse 10 (est.)
Neptune moves through Capricorn slowly, marking a generation ... the dissolving current reaches structures and authority, eroding faith in the institutions a society leans on. This cohort watches the old order blur. The shadow is the disillusion that turns to cynicism ... a generational loss of trust in the system, finding its edge when the dissolving makes room for something more humane to be built.
Pluto in SagittariusHouse 8 (est.)
Pluto crosses Sagittarius over a generation ... the transformative power reaches belief, religion, and the global reach of ideas, remaking what whole cultures hold true. This cohort transforms faith and its institutions. The shadow is the conviction that turns coercive ... a generational pull toward zealotry and the export of dogma, finding its redemption when the search for truth stays genuinely open.
The growth here runs toward order ... toward discernment, useful work, and the dignity of showing up for the practical and the particular. The South Node in Pisces holds the old ease of drift, escape, and the formless. The pull is toward the grounded and the exact, which can feel small after the boundless. The work is bringing form to the fog, tending the daily and the concrete rather than dissolving away from it.
Chiron in ScorpioHouse 7 (est.)
The wound here gathers around power and trust ... an early experience of betrayal, loss, or powerlessness that cut to the bone. It can show as a guardedness around intimacy or a struggle with control. The gift is the depth that the wound opened ... a fearless capacity to walk with others through their darkest passages, having survived a descent of one's own.
Ascendant (Rising) in Taurus(est.)
Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign, and on the Ascendant it slows the whole approach down ... the world meets your steadiness before anything else. You come across as calm, grounded, unhurried, someone who does not rush and cannot quite be rushed. There is a physical ease to your presence, a warmth that settles a room, a quiet signal that you are not going anywhere. People trust the surface because it does not perform. The work is making sure the steadiness stays open and does not harden, over the years, into a presence that simply will not be moved.
Descendant in Scorpio(est.)
Scorpio is a Fixed Water sign, and on the Descendant it draws you toward partners with depth ... intense, emotionally real, unafraid of the underworld. You seek a bond that goes beneath the surface, where trust is earned and intimacy actually costs something. What you are looking for in another is often the willingness to be fully known that you are still learning to offer.
Midheaven in Capricorn(est.)
Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth sign, and on the Midheaven it is most at home, because this is the angle Capricorn rules ... the career becomes the arena where the whole self organizes. You are drawn to authority, structure, the long disciplined climb toward mastery. The reputation grows through demonstrated competence and the willingness to keep showing up. You are known for building things that last. The risk is becoming the title ... the work is remembering there is a person under the achievement.
Imum Coeli in Cancer(est.)
Cancer is a Cardinal Water sign, and at the IC it is most at home, because this is the angle Cancer rules ... the roots run deep into family, memory, and feeling. Home is sacred, the place you need to feel emotionally safe above all. You recharge through solitude and through tending the private world that holds you. The foundation here is feeling itself.
