Rashida Jones

In 2018, Rashida Jones released a documentary about her father. Quincy, which she co-directed with Alan Hicks, followed the legendary producer Quincy Jones through his career and his late-life health problems, and it won the Grammy for Best Music Film. It was an intimate project, made by a daughter who had grown up around one of the most famous figures in American music and who had built her own career deliberately on different ground.

She was born at 3:36 a.m. on February 25, 1976, in Los Angeles, to Quincy Jones and the actress Peggy Lipton, from a birth record.
