Lisa Edelstein

In the 1980s, Lisa Edelstein was a fixture of New York's nightclub scene, a teenage "club kid" who went out nearly every night and was crowned the Queen of the Night by the press. In 1989 she wrote and starred in Positive Me, a musical about AIDS, at a time when the epidemic was devastating the downtown arts world she belonged to. Acting soon took her to Los Angeles, and fifteen years later she became the hospital administrator Lisa Cuddy on House.

She was born on May 27, 1966, in Boston, Massachusetts, at 12:22 in the afternoon, as stated on her birth certificate, and grew up in Wayne, New Jersey.
