Diana Ross

In July 1983, Diana Ross gave a free concert on the Great Lawn of Central Park in front of hundreds of thousands of people. Midway through, a torrential storm broke over the city. Ross kept singing in the downpour, her hair and gown soaked, urging the crowd to stay calm, and the image of her performing through the rain became one of the defining moments of her career. She came back the next day and did the whole show again.

Her chart has the presence for that moment. She was born at 11:46 p.m. on March 26, 1944, in Detroit, according to her birth certificate, and Scorpio rises in her chart.
