Brad Pitt

American actor and producer known for Fight Club, Troy, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt's chart contains a genuine paradox: Sagittarius Sun rising — both Sun and Ascendant in Sagittarius, in the 1st house — which produces the presentation everyone knows. The freedom, the humor, the restlessness, the physical ease. But almost every personal planet except the Sun is in Capricorn: Moon, Mercury, Venus all in the 2nd house, Mars in the 1st. The person the world meets looks like Sagittarius. The person who actually lives that life is mostly Capricorn.

The Capricorn Moon in the 2nd house is the emotional bedrock — security through what is built and owned, steadiness through the tangible. This is not a Moon that processes feelings in public or in motion. It needs ground under it, and it finds that ground through the work of building something that holds. The long career arc, the production company, the serious films alongside the blockbusters — all consistent with a Moon that plays the long game.

Capricorn Mercury and Venus in the 2nd reinforce this: the mind is practical and precise despite the Sagittarian exterior, and love is expressed through loyalty and the willingness to stay rather than through grand romantic gesture. Capricorn Mars in the 1st house brings the ambition into the same space as the Sagittarius Ascendant — the drive is immediately visible, but it's structured drive, not impulsive fire.

The Sagittarius Sun needs the horizon, the next chapter, the freedom to begin again. The Capricorn planets need the foundation to do it properly. His best work happens when neither is sacrificing for the other.
