Here identity sits right on the surface, broadcast through presence itself ... the self is the first thing the world meets, before a word is spoken. Vitality is visible, the walk into a room already an announcement. There is little gap between who the person is and who they appear to be, which is its own kind of honesty. The work is remembering that a presence this strong can fill a room so completely it forgets to leave space for anyone else in it.
