Rita Wilson

Actress, producer, singer and songwriter, breast cancer advocate, and half of one of the longest running marriages in Hollywood, together with Tom Hanks since 1988. Rita Wilson's Sun sits in Scorpio in the 11th house, the sector of community and shared cause, and Scorpio finds identity through depth and seriousness rather than a surface level appearance. She's channeled her platform into substantive work on women's health, theater, and music in ways most spouses of famous actors never quite attempt.

Neptune shares that Scorpio placement in the same house, adding a dreamy, empathic quality to how she builds community. A famously generous, long running friendship circle that included Nora Ephron, who shaped much of her creative professional life, reads like this Neptune loving chosen family with something close to spiritual intensity.

Sagittarius governs the Ascendant, and Saturn shares that sign inside the 12th house, together giving the visible face its warmth alongside real private discipline. People meet a Sagittarius Ascendant and read intelligence and warmth immediately, while Saturn in the 12th house supplies substantial behind the scenes producing work and a private, sustained philosophical practice underneath it.

The Moon conjuncts Uranus in Leo, both in the 8th house, the chart's emotional core and its real engine of transformation. A placement here lives close to crisis and lives close to reinvention, and her two cancer diagnoses in 2015 and 2022, along with open public conversation about preventive surgery and women's health screening, both read like this Moon and Uranus pairing turning crisis directly into material that helps other people.

Venus conjuncts Jupiter in Virgo in the 10th house, running a careful, detailed, patient signature underneath her career. Producing credits including My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, along with a music career built deliberately song by song well into her fifties, both trace back to this placement.

Mars sits in Pisces in the 3rd house, fighting for emotional truth in how she speaks rather than for victory in an argument. Her interview register has always read as genuinely sincere, which fits this Mars closely.

Chiron and Lilith both sit in Aquarius, tucked into the house tied to material and emotional worth, a placement that shows up in public conversation about the cancer experience, writing about her father's death, and a willingness to be honest about money and emotion in ways most spouses of famous actors carefully avoid.

Pluto occupies Virgo, positioned in the house governing belief and worldview, deepening the same generational shift toward transformed conviction that fits work she's done helping reshape how a spouse in Hollywood can build a genuinely independent career without it costing the marriage anything.
