Harrison Ford

In the early 1970s, Harrison Ford was a struggling actor supporting his family by working as a carpenter in Los Angeles. George Lucas, who had cast him in a small role in American Graffiti, later had him read lines with other actors auditioning for Star Wars. Lucas ended up casting him as Han Solo. Within a few years, the former carpenter had also become Indiana Jones, one of the most beloved adventure heroes in film history.

He was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, at 11:41 a.m., the hour on his birth certificate.
