North Node Interpretations

The North Node is not a planet at all but a point ... the place where the Moon's orbit crosses the path of the Sun ... and yet it carries unusual weight in a chart. It marks the direction a life is growing toward, the qualities and experiences that feel unfamiliar and faintly uncomfortable at first and deeply right once a person leans in. The South Node opposite it holds what is already mastered, the comfortable default a person falls back on. The North Node holds the growth edge. In a birth chart it points at the unlived part of the self, the area where moving toward the discomfort brings the strongest sense of purpose.
